Batch 206 is a small-batch vodka distilled in Seattle, and we are proud to pour it at Grappa in Queen Anne, Seattle. Named for the city’s area code, it is a true hometown spirit, polished and elegant, with a strong sense of local pride.
About the Distillery
Batch 206 Distillery opened in Seattle in 2012, taking its name from the local area code. It built a following as one of the city’s craft distillers, working in small batches and giving its vodka an extended charcoal-polishing regimen to refine the spirit before bottling.
Style & Character
This is a corn-based vodka, distilled and then carried through a lengthy charcoal-polishing process. That careful filtering yields a notably clean, smooth style. Rather than a heavy, characterful spirit, it leans toward purity and softness, an easygoing and refined pour.
Tasting Notes
Expect a clean, smooth entry with a subtle natural sweetness, a silky mid-palate, and a soft, polished finish with little burn. Served cold, it is crisp and bright, equally at home neat or in a cocktail.
What to Pair It With
A clean vodka is a natural with fresh, briny plates. Enjoy it with our fresh oysters, the Dungeness crab & shrimp salad, or heirloom tomatoes & burrata. See more on our dine-in menu.
How It’s Served at Grappa
We pour Batch 206 chilled and neat, or stirred into a cocktail, for $11.
