Rodney Strong Symmetry Meritage

Rodney Strong “Symmetry” is an Alexander Valley Meritage poured at Grappa in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. This Cabernet-led blend of the five classic Bordeaux grapes is Rodney Strong’s flagship red, and we pour it for guests who want a polished, complete California Bordeaux-style wine.

About the Winery

Rodney Strong Vineyards is a long-established Sonoma County producer that has grown Bordeaux varieties in Alexander Valley for decades. Symmetry is the winery’s flagship Meritage, an assembled blend drawn only from their highest-graded barrel lots each vintage.

Region & Grape

The grapes are grown in Alexander Valley, a warm Sonoma County appellation renowned for ripe, structured Cabernet Sauvignon. Symmetry brings together the five traditional Bordeaux grapes, led by Cabernet Sauvignon, and is aged in French oak barrels to integrate and refine the blend.

Tasting Notes
