Upchurch Cabernet Sauvignon
Upchurch Cabernet Sauvignon

The Upchurch Cabernet Sauvignon is a top-tier Washington red poured by the glass at Grappa in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. Grown on Red Mountain, one of the state’s most acclaimed appellations, it is lush, full-bodied, and built to impress. We feature it because it represents the very best of Washington Cabernet, crafted by one of the state’s most respected winemakers.

About the Winery

Upchurch Vineyard is the personal project of Chris Upchurch, the founding winemaker of DeLille Cellars and a leading figure in Washington’s fine-wine scene. After decades shaping the state’s reputation for world-class reds, he focused his estate on Red Mountain Cabernet. The result is a wine of precision, depth, and polish.

Region & Grape

This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Red Mountain AVA in eastern Washington, a small, warm, sun-drenched appellation famous for producing powerful, structured reds. The combination of hot days, cool nights, and well-drained soils gives Red Mountain Cabernet its signature concentration. The current pour is the 2022 vintage.
