The Domenico Clerico Barolo is a Piedmont red wine poured at Grappa in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. Made by the celebrated Domenico Clerico estate in Monforte d’Alba, it is a 100% Nebbiolo Barolo that balances modern polish with classic depth. We pour it for guests who want the prestige and power of Barolo from one of the region’s iconic names.
About the Winery
The Domenico Clerico estate was founded in 1976 in Monforte d’Alba, when the young Domenico Clerico took over a small family farm and set out to find the best plots in Barolo. He became a pioneer of single-cru bottlings and helped define a more refined, expressive style of Barolo. Following his passing in 2017, the winery continues under his family and team, faithful to his legacy.
Region & Grape

Nebbiolo is the great noble grape of the region, prized for its perfume, firm tannins, and remarkable ability to age. Barolo represents its most powerful and long-lived expression, drawn from the chalky, marl-rich hills of the Langhe.
