Sparkman Cellars Ruby Leigh
Sparkman Cellars Ruby Leigh

Sparkman Cellars “Ruby Leigh” is a Columbia Valley red blend poured at Grappa in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. Made by Woodinville’s Sparkman Cellars, it is a right-bank-style Bordeaux blend led by Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Malbec. We pour it for guests who love a red that is elegant, balanced, and beautifully composed.

About the Winery

Sparkman Cellars was founded in 2004 by Chris and Kelly Sparkman in Woodinville, Washington. Ruby Leigh, named for one of the family’s daughters, has been a Merlot- and Cabernet-Franc-driven blend since the winery’s earliest days, and it remains one of their most graceful bottlings.

Region & Grape

The fruit is grown in Washington’s Columbia Valley. In the right-bank Bordeaux tradition, Merlot leads the blend, joined by Cabernet Franc and Malbec. The wine is matured in French oak, which adds polish and frames the fruit.
