The 12 Year expression carries a full dozen years of maturation, joining the standard Knob Creek lineup as its most patiently aged regular release.

Style & Mash Bill

Knob Creek 12 Year is built on the classic Jim Beam bourbon mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley, with a moderate rye proportion rather than a high-rye or wheated recipe. Twelve years in charred oak deepen the whiskey considerably, concentrating its oak, spice, and caramel while preserving balance. This is a bourbon that wears its age gracefully, with structure and polish.
