The agave is certified organic blue Weber, grown at a single estate in Amatitan, in the Lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico, the historic heartland of tequila. The agave is allowed to mature fully before harvest, and the Lowland terroir lends an earthier, more savory expression than the Highlands. Resting in American oak then layers warmth over that grounded, organic foundation.
