About the show
When Chai Met Toast are an indie-folk band from Kochi, Kerala: Ashwin Gopakumar, Achyuth Jaigopal, Palee Francis and Pai Sailesh. They sing mainly in English and Hindi, with songs in Tamil and Malayalam too. Their releases include the EP Joy of Little Things, the album When We Feel Young (2021) and LYTS, recorded in London with producer Richard Wilkinson, and they have played Expo 2020 Dubai and the Singapore Grand Prix.
The Seattle show is presented by Abbey Arts with The Crocodile. Fremont Abbey Arts Center is a nonprofit arts space in a building constructed in 1914 as St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
