Dinner Before Chelsea Wolfe at the Moore Theatre
Planning dinner before Chelsea Wolfe at the Moore Theatre? THE DARK World Tour reaches the Moore on Friday, September 18, with doors at 7:30 PM and the show at 8:30 PM. Grappa is 2.3 miles away by car in Queen Anne, close enough for a slow Mediterranean dinner before a night of heavy, haunting music. A table around 6:30 PM leaves time to eat well and still be inside when Jonathan Hultén opens.
Plan your night around the show
With an 8:30 PM start on a Friday, sit down at Grappa around 6:30 PM. The Moore uses metal detectors and a bag search at the door and asks guests to arrive early, and Friday traffic downtown is rarely quick, so a two-hour margin is about right. Before you leave, check the live route from Grappa to the Moore.

Your evening at a glance
- Around 6:30 PM: dinner at Grappa in Queen Anne. Mention the 8:30 PM show when you are seated.
- 7:30 PM: doors open at the Moore. Leave time for the security line.
- Before the headliner: Jonathan Hultén opens the night.
- 8:30 PM: Chelsea Wolfe takes the stage.
Plan on dinner before the show rather than after: on Fridays Grappa closes at 10:00 PM, before an 8:30 PM show lets out.
What to order before the show

A dark, moody concert pairs well with a candlelit table and a glass of red. Order a couple of plates to share first, then mains that come out together so the evening keeps moving.
- To share: Saganaki, pan-seared graviera sheep cheese finished with ouzo and lemon, or the Pesto Mussels.
- Mains: Lasagna with lamb and beef ragu, the Spicy Sausage Rigatoni in vodka cream sauce, or the Wild King Salmon.
- For two: the Charcuterie Board with prosciutto, salami, cheeses and fig jam.
- Something sweet: Mama’s Tiramisu, if the clock allows.
The full dinner menu changes with the season, and there are wines by the glass and cocktails to start the night. Choose a table in our candlelit dining room or on our heated four-season patio.
About the show
Chelsea Wolfe grew up in Sacramento, California, and makes music that moves between folk, gothic rock, doom metal and experimental noise. Her albums include Pain Is Beauty (2013), Abyss (2015), Hiss Spun (2017), Birth of Violence (2019) and She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She (2024). This tour follows The Dark, her ninth studio album, released on Loma Vista Recordings in August 2026, with songs including “Death Is Not the End”, “Cold” and “Seethe”.
Opening is Jonathan Hultén, the Swedish musician who played lead guitar in the metal band Tribulation for fifteen years before turning to solo work built on acoustic guitar and layered, choral vocals, heard on his album Chants From Another Place (2020).
The setting suits the music. The Moore opened in 1907 and is Seattle’s oldest operating theatre.
