About the Winery
Love & Squalor is the project of owner and winemaker Matt Berson, who began working in the Oregon wine industry in 2003 at Patricia Green Cellars and gained experience at respected cellars in Oregon and abroad. He named the label as a tribute to author J.D. Salinger. The winery, based at the Portland Wine Company, produces well-priced, characterful Pinot Noir from fruit sourced across the northern Willamette Valley, aged in older barrels to preserve freshness.
