Poli Cleopatra Moscato Oro
Poli Cleopatra Moscato Oro

Poli Cleopatra Moscato Oro is an aged grappa poured at Grappa in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, crafted by the Poli Distillery in Schiavon, in the heart of the Veneto. We list it for its golden, perfumed elegance, an aromatic Moscato grappa rested in oak that brings a fragrant, refined close to dinner, from our family to your table.

About the Distillery

The Poli Distillery is a historic artisan house founded in 1898 by the Poli family in Schiavon, near Bassano del Grappa in the Veneto. For generations the family has distilled grappa with patience and care, and the Cleopatra line is among their most celebrated expressions, named to evoke seduction and beauty.

Style & Production

This grappa is made from the pomace of Moscato, an aromatic grape, distilled gently using Poli’s vacuum bain-marie method. It is then patiently rested in oak barrels in the distillery’s underground cellars, where time in wood gives it a golden tone, hence oro, and a deeper, rounder character.

Tasting Notes

Expect a warm golden color and a generous aromatic bouquet: a basket of pineapple, mandarin and mango, lifted by honey and a whisper of tertiary spice from the wood. The palate is soft, floral and elegant, perfumed and seductive, with a gentle, lingering finish.

What to Pair It With

Poli Cleopatra Moscato Oro pairs delightfully with our Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta and Mama’s Tiramisu, and it makes a graceful digestif after our American Wagyu Steaks. Explore the full dine-in menu for more pairings.

How It’s Served at Grappa

We pour it neat as a digestif, served at $21, a perfumed and refined finish to an evening in Queen Anne.
