About the Distillery
Solento is an organic tequila produced in partnership with the Montes family, third-generation tequila makers in Jalisco. Their approach respects the local environment, and the spirit carries USDA organic certification. The agave hearts are slow-cooked in brick ovens for roughly two days, then pressed, fermented, and distilled naturally, a measured process that lets the agave speak for itself.
Agave & Region
Solento Blanco is made from organic Blue Weber agave grown at a single estate in Amatitán, in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is harvested in small batches after roughly seven years maturing under the sun. As a blanco, the tequila is unaged, offering an unfiltered look at the estate’s terroir and the agave at its freshest.
