Fremont Mischief is a small-batch vodka distilled in Seattle, and we are proud to pour it at Grappa in Queen Anne, Seattle. As a local spirit made just across town, it brings a sense of place to our list, an elegant pour with deep Pacific Northwest roots.
About the Distillery
Fremont Mischief has handcrafted spirits in Seattle since 2009, working from locally and sustainably grown grain raised in the Cascadia bioclimate west of the Cascade Mountains. The distillery built its reputation on heritage and estate grains, freshly milled and worked in modest batches, a hands-on approach that reflects the craft culture of its home city.
Style & Character
This is a grain vodka built on soft winter wheat, freshly ground and then double distilled for purity. The result is a clean, supple style that still keeps a gentle wheaten character. Rather than stripping the spirit of all personality, it leaves a soft, rounded texture that speaks to its grain.
Tasting Notes
Expect a smooth, silky entry with a faint sweetness from the wheat, a touch of fresh bread and cream, and a clean, lingering finish. Served cold, it turns crisp and bright, with a soft roundness that makes it easy and refined to sip.
What to Pair It With
A clean vodka shines alongside bright, briny, and fresh plates. Try it with our fresh oysters, the Dungeness crab & shrimp salad, or heirloom tomatoes & burrata. Explore more on our dine-in menu.
How It’s Served at Grappa
We pour Fremont Mischief chilled and neat, or stirred into a cocktail, for $10.
