Kastra Elion Vodka
Kastra Elion Vodka

Kastra Elion is one of the most distinctive bottles on our shelf, a Greek vodka born not from grain alone but from olives. At our Queen Anne table it feels almost made for the Mediterranean spirit of Grappa, a graceful, sun-touched pour we love to share with curious guests, chilled and neat or in a thoughtfully built cocktail.

About the Distillery

Kastra Elion is crafted in the mountainous region around Nafpaktos in Western Greece, named for an ancient castle that watches over the surrounding olive groves. The signature ingredient is hand-picked Greek olives of the prized Koroneiki variety, blended with curated grains and natural spring water from the region’s crystalline rock. Distilled in copper pot stills and rested before bottling, it reflects a deep love for the heritage and flavors of the Mediterranean.

Style & Character

This is a vodka with a rare provenance, drawing its base from green Greek olives alongside grain. The olives give Kastra Elion a gentle, savory roundness and a supple, almost buttery texture that sets it well apart from classic grain vodkas. Copper pot-still distillation preserves that fruit character, yielding a spirit that is smooth and refined yet quietly unexpected, a true conversation piece in the glass.

Tasting Notes

The aroma is soft and inviting, with a whisper of olive and almond. On the palate it is smooth and slightly buttery, carrying a mild almond sweetness, a clean savory note and a long, rounded finish. Served cold, its Mediterranean character blooms, elegant and distinctive without ever losing its poise.

What to Pair It With

Kastra Elion’s olive-kissed character is a natural with our coastal plates. It is striking alongside our Fresh Oysters, echoing the brine of the sea, and lovely with the Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Salad. Best of all, it sings beside Heirloom Tomatoes & Burrata, a Mediterranean match made in the glass. See more on our dine-in menu.
