Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve Bourbon
Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve Bourbon

Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve is a bold, full-flavored Kentucky bourbon poured at Grappa in Queen Anne, Seattle, ideal for those who like their whiskey with presence.

About the Distillery

Knob Creek is part of the Jim Beam Small Batch Bourbon Collection, distilled in Clermont, Kentucky. The brand carries the name of the creek near Abraham Lincoln’s boyhood home and was created to revive a pre-Prohibition style of richer, more deeply aged bourbon. The Single Barrel Reserve takes that philosophy further, drawing each bottle from one individually selected barrel.

Style & Mash Bill

Knob Creek is built on the traditional Jim Beam bourbon mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley, a recipe with a moderate rye proportion rather than a high-rye or wheated character. The Single Barrel Reserve is bottled at a notably higher strength than the standard Knob Creek, giving it intensity and a robust, oak-driven backbone. Each barrel is chosen for its depth and character, so no two are precisely alike.

Tasting Notes

The nose offers vanilla, caramel, and toasted nuts. The palate is rich and assertive, with brown sugar, oak, baking spice, and a touch of dark fruit. The higher proof brings a warming, full-bodied finish layered with caramel and char.

What to Pair It With

Its bold oak and spice stand up to our American Wagyu steaks, while our Sicilian meatballs echo the bourbon’s savory warmth. For dessert, our flourless chocolate cake is a fine finish. Explore the full dine-in menu for more.
