Solento Anejo is an organic, single-estate tequila with a calm, sun-warmed character that suits a relaxed evening at Grappa, our Mediterranean restaurant in Queen Anne. Made with restraint and a love of the land, it sips like a quiet afternoon.
About the Distillery
Solento is produced in small batches at a family-owned estate and distillery in Jalisco, where the Montes family has refined its craft across three generations. The brand is rooted in sustainability, from certified organic farming to recycled glass and responsibly sourced labels. That care extends to the spirit itself, which is hand-harvested and unhurried at every stage.
Agave & Region
This tequila is made from certified organic, hand-harvested blue agave grown on a single estate in Amatitan, Jalisco. The agave matures for years under the Mexican sun before harvest, and organic cultivation lets the true flavor of the plant and place come forward. The result is a clean, honest expression of its terroir.
Tasting Notes
Aging in American oak brings gentle notes of buttery maple, vanilla, and toasted oak around a core of sweet cooked agave. The palate is soft and smooth, with a touch of caramel and a clean, easygoing finish. It is mellow and inviting throughout.
What to Pair It With
Its maple-and-vanilla warmth pairs naturally with Grappa’s Famous Paella and its saffron-kissed seafood. It also complements the smoky Spaniard Octopus and the savory heat of our Spicy Sausage Rigatoni. See more on the full dine-in menu.
How It’s Served at Grappa
Solento Anejo is poured neat for sipping or in a cocktail, served at $23.
