The Crocodile sits at 1st Avenue and Wall Street in the north end of Belltown, so the trip from Grappa is mostly downhill and takes about six minutes without traffic. The venue has no parking lot; it points drivers to SpotHero for reserved spaces nearby, and street parking is available in the surrounding blocks. On an early weekend evening, reserving a space ahead of time saves circling the block before the doors open.

About the show
Bilal is a singer from Philadelphia who studied at the city’s High School for the Creative and Performing Arts and at The New School in New York. His debut album, 1st Born Second, came out in 2001, and he became part of the Soulquarians circle, working with artists including Common, Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper and The Roots. He won a Grammy for Kendrick Lamar’s “These Walls” and was nominated again in 2026 for his album Adjust Brightness.
Yaya Bey is an R&B singer-songwriter from Queens, New York. Her albums Remember Your North Star (2022) and Ten Fold (2024) were both named Best New Music by Pitchfork, and her latest album, Fidelity, came out in April 2026.
The Crocodile has been a Seattle music landmark since 1991 and moved to its current Belltown home in 2021.
