Dinner Before Halwa by Amit Tandon at the Moore Theatre
Planning dinner before Halwa by Amit Tandon at the Moore Theatre? The Hindi stand-up show comes to the Moore on Sunday, September 20, with doors at 5 PM and the show at 6:00 PM. Grappa is 2.3 miles away by car in Queen Anne, so you can share an early Mediterranean dinner and still arrive in good time. With a 6 PM start, a table around 4:00 PM works best.
Plan your evening around an early show
A 6 PM curtain on a Sunday means eating earlier than usual. Sit down at Grappa around 4:00 PM, order promptly, and you will have time for the drive downtown and the security check at the Moore, which uses metal detectors and a bag search and asks guests to arrive early. Before you leave, check the live route from Grappa to the Moore.
If you would rather make a day of it, Grappa serves weekend brunch on Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM. For parking near the theatre, will call and balcony access, see our guide to dinner near the Moore Theatre.
Getting to the Moore Theatre
The Moore has no parking lot of its own, but there is a loading zone right in front of the main doors, which makes a rideshare drop-off easy. If you drive, Seattle Theatre Group points visitors to the Securities Garage at 1922 3rd Avenue, between Stewart and Virginia Streets. Street parking nearby is free on Sundays, though spaces go quickly before an early show.

- To share: Our Hummus, house-made red bell pepper hummus with tzatziki, or Saganaki, pan-seared graviera cheese with ouzo and lemon.
- Vegetarian mains: Primavera Pasta with asparagus, peas and cherry tomatoes, or the Zucchini Linguine.
- Other mains: Italian Branzino with lemon butter caper sauce, or the Seafood Risotto.
- Something sweet: Mama’s Tiramisu to share.
The full dinner menu changes with the season, and there are wines by the glass and cocktails. Choose a table in our candlelit dining room or on our heated four-season patio.
